Public Asked for Input on Candidates for Arizona Court of Appeals
The Commission on Appellate Court Appointments is asking for public comment on seven candidates for an opening on Division Two of the Arizona Court of Appeals. The vacancy results from the retirement of Judge Michael O. Miller.
The candidates are:

The Commission will meet to interview the candidates on July 31, 2017. The meeting will be held at the Sheraton Tucson Hotel and Suites, 5151 E. Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712, starting at 9:00 a.m. Citizens may address the commission at that time or send written comments to 1501 W. Washington, Suite 221, Phoenix, AZ 85007 or to email@example.com. Comments should be received no later than July 27th to be considered. Anonymous comments cannot be considered.
After the interviews, the Commission will recommend at least three nominees for the opening to Governor Doug Ducey, who will appoint the new judge.
Division Two of the Court of Appeals hears cases arising in Cochise, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, Pima, Pinal and Santa Cruz counties.
